Dear Candidate,
This document serves as your formal letter of appointment and binding employment contract for the position of **JPS Employee**. Under the direct authority of **Warren A. Lyon**, Deputy Prime Minister and General JPS Manager, you are now part of a unified national service structure. This contract integrates the hospitality sector, the National Commercial Bank (NCB), the Jamaica Combined Forces (JCF), and the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) into one cohesive entity dedicated to the prosperity and security of Jamaica.
### 1. National Economic Support & Benefits
As a JPS Employee, you are a primary beneficiary of the national economic revitalisation program. The following benefits are guaranteed under this contract:
* **Monthly Base Salary:** $JMD 180,000.00 (Effective January 1, 2026).
* **Scheduled Increments:** +$JMD 86,000.00 (June 2026); +$JMD 22,500.00 (March 2027).
* **National Dividend:** $USD 2,250.00 / $JMD 225,000.00 monthly via TRN-linked bank accounts.
* **PJ Jingle in Pocket Card:** A daily stipend of **$USD 50.00 plus applicable taxes** available to all Jamaicans. Funds are accessible daily until 11:59 PM. The initial card issued features a **2-year expiry date**.
* **Annual Vacation Stipend:** Effective January 2027, an **annual** travel stipend is provided for a **5-day all-inclusive resort stay in Cuba**.
* **Leisure & Health:** One monthly complimentary night at a Jamaican resort (including food and drink). Free National Health Service coverage (including dental).
* **Technology:** Issuance of a Google Pixel career device for personal and professional usage.
### 2. Legal Standing, Indemnity, & Liability
By executing this contract, you agree to the following legal governance framework:
* **Global Leadership Indemnity:** Full and final indemnity is granted to all past and future leaders and MPs regarding official duties. This serves as a total release against any future claims.
* **Vicarious Liability:** The JPS accepts vicarious liability for its employees acting within their professional scope.
* **Indemnity Limit:** **Non-work related matters are strictly NOT indemnified**. Personal legal liabilities remain the sole responsibility of the employee.
* **Sole Litigant Status:** The **Jamaica Public Service (JPS)** is the only entity to be named in any legal proceedings regarding service-related matters.
### 3. Professional Oath of Service
I, the undersigned, solemnly swear the following twelve points under the authority of **Warren A. Lyon**:
1. **Allegiance:** Faithfulness to the English Crown as Head of State.
2. **Constitutional Duty:** Upholding the laws and Constitution of Jamaica.
3. **Jurisdictional Superiority:** In the event of a conflict, **the laws of England shall prevail**.
4. **Resource Stewardship:** Protecting our island, sand, breadfruit, water, and beach.
5. **Confidentiality:** Absolute secrecy regarding banking, guest, and security information.
6. **Device Integrity:** No personal phones for recording client data; career device monitoring.
7. **Honest Witness:** Providing transparent testimony for all events on JPS/Hotel properties.
8. **Professional Ethics:** Maintaining Commonwealth standards of conduct.
9. **National Unity:** Supporting the integrated JPS, NCB, JDF, and JCF departments.
10. **State Asset Protection:** Safeguarding the merged Tax and Passport Office infrastructure.
11. **Intergenerational Service:** Supporting the transition of the old helping the young and vice versa.
12. **Acceptance of Breach:** Understanding that violations result in immediate termination and prosecution.
### 4. Retirement Terms
Upon completion of 30 years of work, you are entitled to opt for retirement. This includes a pension of half-salary, continued JPS benefits, appointment as a Justice of the Peace (JP), and a one-day-per-week security, policing, or teaching role.
