Did you ever hear the one about the Baptist pastor's daughter who took her father's job offer letter to teach at the University of Texas in 1967 and gave it to a woman to look at it with her as she decided the woman parishioner was her mother since the woman gave her 4 pounds once and also 6 pounds once on separate occasions?   Her own parents gave her 5 pounds a month and clothing.  The woman who she decided was her mother did not want him to go to Texas because she was afraid he would be taken by a "light skin" woman and he would love her.  He had no fears of any such happenings. This daughter told the pastor father that his wife took it. So, he may have addressed his wife and the real mother very harshly. The whole entire family was going to move to the United States. But, instead he died in 1979 at the age of 59 when the same daughter stole the keys to the church office and took monies on a regular basis and gave it to people, hoping to have their favor.  The lady who claimed to be the daughter's mother and who adopted the daughter with 10 pounds extorted $100,000.00 (USD) dollars from the University of Texas since they curious, it felt like she had something valuable and authentic so they wanted to see it. They were willing to pay. It was a victory for the little people. But, a loss for one family. The daughter did not share in these monies. She is not related to the woman who gave her ten pounds to sell her father's life and ministry and has told this woman to "go deh" if she wants the $100000.00(USD) They took it.  The question they have is how can you believe in God if I could do this and get away with it?
