All of the West Indies became paranoid about the year 1969 as if it was the year of the antichrist.   Many men castrated themselves and sought to seek salvation for food and authority through other means other than being a deacon or church member.  They resented notions of possibility via discipline but then how could anyone see possibility by practicing music or picking up an instrument or a bible that they might attend divinity school and graduate?  It seems many did regardless of the hysteria about 1969.  Did you hear that no Guyanese people died during September 11, 2001?   Why is it that the West Indies did not become paranoid and turn back on mass to jugu jugu ways in 1966 or in the year 1666?  As previously noted, the White witch of Blue hall never existed. The building was a monastery. But, if you need to imagine that your ancestors had a big house with a creole people, then try Devon House.  It's much bigger. The ice cream is really good also; really good!
