We cannot have a Mephibosheth nation that divorces itself from the purpose of Israel.  Mephibosheth could be your son or daughter; maybe your nephew.  They are a burden and threat.  They don't want to do anything but challenge and hurt those who may have helped them and they must be reminded that Israel stands together; not disparately apart.
