For some, Black identity is akin to a son of Jacob choosing in 2017, while in the promised land, to identify himself as the victim of the limited experience of slavery in Egypt instead of the inheritor of the promises of Abraham.  But, what did you want to believe after reading W.E.B. Du Bois and reading history books in regular public access libraries?  Do you know a white person was the first human being to mention Shaka Zulu, St. Augustine or Hannibal, the African General in a school setting?  It was a white public school teacher.  They also mentioned Belafonte and Poitier. Do you understand? Est ton ecouter?
