The new Jamaican desalinization plant will provide clean, copious drinking water on reserve or with a 50% maximum input into the existing water system since there is still sufficient rain. However, any salt extracted can be sold as an export per the kilogram. The extracted sea salt could also be used in a fast chemical reaction to produce energy for electricity.
