So, the West Indian civil rights movement is to demean and devalue anyone who moves within the communally set glass barriers in the faith that the offer of inclusion in the greater system is reasonable and genuine.  As they demean, they are hoping to obtain attention, recognition or compensation  as they did not accept the offer of inclusion.  Some of these people are descendants of  individuals who were released from slavery in 1833, some of them went to the United States in 1865, some went to England in 1948 and in three generations, there is evidence that a self fulfilling belief in under attainment or achievement within the realm of obvious government educational resources in Western countries is evident.  There is a need for continued support for these communities(This community's need for continued dependence) after emancipation so that anyone who does take advantage of educational resources is supported to survive the various emotional communal hindrances and communal deaths to which one may succumb.  Why is it that no one in that community can enjoy a career as a cook or bus driver without being hindered by alleged members of the said community who think they are currying favor to hurt and sabotage those individuals who believed in the various possibilities offered in the wider and greater system?  Grandma suggests that the 70 year uncle can be a head cook with the nephew's cooking degree if the nephew is dead. Grandma also wants everybody to feel Tizic but Tizic is a Romanian word. But, let's just have some tea and some cookies until we know what is going on and smile and chat after graduation.  That might sound familiar.  The division is evident when some people think they are supporting a French population in the West Indies while holding back a Spanish Town and anyone who came from that region but most people have parents and Grand parents that come from both communities since where one choose to live is not indicative of their dna.   You have lots of alleged French Islanders who moved to Spanish Town for the quiet.   This cultural division and fighting in the Island is childish since there is only one language on the syllabus. If you wish to teach French as mandatory instead of Spanish, then teach it. What...you never kissed a Spanish looking West Indian woman with a big backside and ended up with Spanishish children of various complexions?  Of course you did but you don't know where they are or how well they graduated in fear of your honor. But, they do buy West Indian food and pray for the West Indian bobsled team while they believe in the promise of greater social and economic inclusion but with your support and assistance of course in the community and you will grow. There is now only one West Indian take out in Flatbush but there used to be six. But, it will grow again. Buy a burrito for the time being if the one take out is too busy. Good.  There is certainly community and it's growing  in new and different ways. The darkest people in the Island see the importance of helping family instead of working against them and so do the lightest but what are you doing? But, how long does it take to let your skin go and be transformed in the renewing of your mind?
