Let's Play A Go Up Game...

It's about honoring the one who was unwilling to do his homework or resents anyone who was not apparently held back like he was.  The other dude had little choice and studied to stay alive with all of the cussing that the family name is honored. After graduation, if his grades satisfy the family name, they use him communally as a gymnastic leap frog so that the community will see someone go over him with the communal favor.  But, it may involve stealing something from someone who has already helped a lot of people including the dude who seeks the double portion. Does anyone have to die for this nonsense?  It's not as if there wasn't enough to go around and that he could not have accepted the friendship, but he decided that he had to have a double portion for the second time so that he would feel over someone and the leap frog perpetrators assisted.   This is not the polar express though and the other way of seeing it if there was no graduate involved would be to say it's damn impertinence and rebellion.   Does this make any sense except in the realm of childish emotions that people just want to see it happen?
